Our pantry is open on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 1:45 PM, or until capacity is reached. Please bring a photo ID. All food provided is free for every client. If you forget your paperwork or visit on a non-pantry day, we can still provide an emergency food bag. We offer dried goods, hygiene items, canned foods, frozen foods, meat, fresh produce, feminine products, specific foods for homeless individuals, emergency bags, and other items as available.

The clothing floor is open on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 1:45 PM. Please bring a photo ID. All clothing and items are free for clients who qualify. Only the client receiving clothing may go upstairs, though a helper may assist if needed. If you cannot use the stairs, a personal shopper will bring items downstairs. Children are not allowed upstairs for safety, but childcare is available on Tuesdays while parents receive clothing and food. Clothing is provided only for children listed in the client’s file and verified by staff. Clients can receive three outfits, socks, shoes, winter apparel, accessories, blankets, and other items every 90 days as available.

Monday Ministry, called L.O.G. (Love of God), is offered in partnership with West Acres Baptist Church. We provide a hot meal, worship, and Bible teaching every Monday at 12:30 PM. Ladies’ Bible Study meets on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 AM for a guided study through books of the Bible, helping women grow in personal devotion. Men’s Bible Study is also on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Please call ahead so the study leader can prepare.

Beyond meeting physical needs, we provide encouragement, prayer, lay counseling, and spiritual support to everyone who comes through our doors. Every client meets one-on-one with a trained volunteer who listens, prays, answers questions, and offers guidance. When someone makes a decision for Christ, we provide a month of follow-up through calls and letters to help them grow and stay connected to Bible studies and support groups. We are grateful to witness individuals find hope, healing, and a renewed walk with Christ through these personal connections.

Our Holiday Meals Program provides families with a frozen turkey or ham, all the fixings, and a gift. You can sponsor a family for $35 by mailing or dropping off your gift at 20 Broad Street, Augusta, GA 30901, and please designate it as “Holiday Meals.” Donations are appreciated by October 1. We hope to host Vacation Bible School (VBS) in the summer with the help of local churches. Check our website for updates or call for details. The Back-to-School Bash is a fun day with activities, food, and backpacks filled with school supplies. We also work with schools to provide supplies to children in need throughout the year, and school supply donations are accepted year-round.

Because employment is part of food pantry eligibility, we provide a regularly updated job board, resume help by appointment, and post opportunities for local employers and training programs. Businesses with open positions or training opportunities are welcome to share them with us. Our one-on-one adult literacy program helps adults learn to read and write using the Bible as part of the study material. Our Computer literacy helps individuals maneuver the world of technology easier.

In addition to our summer children’s ministries and winter apparel for youth, we partner with principals and social workers from middle and high schools. Together, we meet the needs of children in extreme poverty or homeless situations in our community. We provide prom dresses for junior and senior girls, clothing and hygiene items as requested by the social worker, and ongoing school supplies.

Our Homeless Ministry provides care, connection, and practical support for individuals experiencing homelessness and those in need. We offer balanced meals, welcome guests to Monday lunch, provide clothing items, hygiene items, and partner with a mobile shower program to ensure dignity and well-being. We also assist those seeking employment through resume support and job guidance, helping our guests take steps toward stability. We assist with mailboxes for our homeless guests, giving them a secure way to receive mail and maintain connection to essential services. Through these efforts, we meet physical needs, share hope, and reflect the love of Jesus by walking alongside people with compassion, respect, and faith-centered care.

This ministry provides critical support for women & children by offering everyday necessities that help families thrive with dignity and stability. Items may include diapers, wipes, baby formula, children’s clothing, school supplies, feminine pads/tampons and laundry detergent, based on availability and current need. To ensure these resources are distributed responsibly and reach the children they are intended to serve, verification of guardianship is required for children’s items. Acceptable documentationmay include a birth certificate or legal guardianship paperwork. This helps us steward donations well and serve families fairly. Our goal is to meet practical needs while offering care, respect, and compassion to every family we serve.

Our Health & Hygiene Ministry provides essential personal care items to support health, dignity, and daily well-being. Items are offered as available and may include toilet paper, razors, feminine hygiene products, adult diapers, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss, deodorant, mouthwash, laundry detergent, combs, tissues, nail clippers, cotton swabs, lip balm, sunscreen, insect repellent, hand sanitizer, and face masks. Multivitamins may also be available as part of our commitment to supporting overall health and in coordination with community health partners. When applicable, vitamins may be provided with documentation from a partnering health clinic. This ministry also supports referrals and partnerships with local health providers when available. Through this ministry, we seek to meet practical needs while offering care, respect, and compassion to those we serve.

The Household Essentials Ministry provides basic home items for individuals and families starting over. Whether someone is new to the area, recently released from jail, or working toward stability after hardship, we offer mattresses, kitchen items, lamps, tables, and other household essentials while supplies are available. Through practical support and compassionate care, we help turn empty spaces into places of rest, dignity, and hope.
