PROJECT 61 MINISTRY - Holiday Meals/ Sponsor a Family 2019

Holiday Meals - Project 61

Project 61 is our Thanksgiving sponsorship and Christmas adoption ministry.

"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me  to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted..."
(Isaiah 61:1a)

How does it work?

Your donation will provide a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal for a family in need - complete with a turkey (or ham at Christmas) and all the fixings. The meals will be purchased and distributed through Broad Street Ministry Center on one of our distribution nights.

* We are adding something different this year!

For an additional $10 we will be adding a family gift!

The holiday gift will be a combination of: devotion book, new socks for each member of the family, Bible, family game that spurs on togetherness and converstaion, plus dessert for the family game night.

I would like to sponsor a family. What's the next step?

To sponsor a family for Thanksgiving or Christmas mail your $35 donation or drop it by 20 Broad Street, Augusta, GA 30901. Please remember to designate it as PROJECT 61. To help us prepare, if possible, please consider donating by October 30th to sponsor a family for Thanksgiving and by November 30th to sponsor a family for Christmas.

If you prefer to give on line, we have set up a "gofund" for our holiday meal program →Holiday Meals for families in need

I'd like to volunteer at Thanksgiving or Christmas. How do I sign up?

Our holiday meal events are fun evenings where we have an opportunity to share Christ's love with the sponsored families, which are receiving a meal and gifts, while enjoying a dessert night out.  To volunteer in one of the many areas of our Project 61 event, simply call 706-722-5999 or email broadstreetministry@comcast.net.

This year, with your partnership, BSMC hopes to serve 500 families (combined) for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Thank you in advance for your help in sharing the hope of Christ
with families in need this Thanksgiving and Christmas.
