ABRAHAM's PLACE

Known as the Place God Provides
Want to host a food drive for Broad Street Ministry Center's food pantry? Supplies are low and we desperately need more food! This is a great project for your group!

We are currently collecting the following items (example listed) for Abraham's Place, the food pantry at BSMC:
condiments (peanut butter, jelly, mayo)
breakfast foods (grits, oatmeal, cereal)
canned fruit  (peaches, pears, applesauce, fruit cocktail)
canned meats (tuna, ravioli, chicken & dumplings, spam, BBQ)
canned vegetables (green beans, peas, corn)
household products (laundry/dish detergent, all-purpose cleaner)
personal hygiene (soap, deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, razors)
staple goods (sugar, flour, cornmeal)
feminine products (tampons, pads, panty liners)

Our food pantry is open to share groceries with up to 80 families every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm.
BSMC is also open every 2nd and 4th Tuesday evening monthly from 5pm to 8pm.
We are an emergency food assistance ministry (clients are allowed a maximum of seven visits per year).
Volunteer interviewers minister on an individual basis to every person that receives assistance.

Volunteer opportunities include interviewing clients and evangelism, sorting food items, packing food boxes, picking up food from Golden Harvest (requires a pickup truck), or donating needed items.
If you're interested in volunteering please fill out our online form or contact the office at (706) 722-5999.
